Can I customize my Hooked Adventure?
Yes! It's possible to customize your Hooked Adventure on certain tours. In reference: our Blueberry Adventures' earmark is wildlife sightseeing and an historical expedition combination. It's satisfactory to only choose to one. Some people would rather see wildlife than exploring famous historical sites. There are some restrictions on certain tours. Please visit the individual Adventure Pages for more information or contact us.

If I catch fish on your fishing charters, can I take it home?

Absolutely! Although we can't guarantee that you'll catch fish, guests that choose this option normally return home with 10-30 pounds of freshly frozen fish per person!

In a post-9/11 world, fees for bags and luggage has increased so you should check with your air-carrier on their fees. For 2-50 lb. fish boxes, checked baggage, along with your other gear, there may be an additional charge. If you would like your fish hot or cold smoked, then shipped to your home within a couple weeks, we can help arrange that for you. *There is an additional charge smoking and shipping.

We use a specific company in Ketchikan to process fish. Upon arrival, we'll packaging options and help you decide which will be best for you and your catch. It's very important to take special care of your catch!

What are the sea conditions like in Southeast Alaska

Ketchikan is protected by the Inside Passage, which is a string of interconnected waterways barricaded on one side by many islands from the open ocean. The waters can be treacherous at times, but overall completely safe and calm. If the water conditions become too rough, we discontinue the trip altogether for our passenger's safety.

What should I bring on my trip?
The items you should bring on your trip depends on the adventure that you're participating in. For example, our famous Salmonberry Adventure features chartered fishing and our Blackberry Adventure highlights Southwest Alaskan free-diving. You wouldn't bring a fishing rod on a diving trip would you? To find out more specifics about each individual tour, visit each respective Adventure Page.
